The Longest Day Art & Alzheimer's: June 21st
The day with the longest light is the day we fight. Join us for an evening of art as we come together with thousands of participants across the world to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's.
In honor of my Mom (Nita Harding) who was an incredibly talented watercolor and mixed media artist and lost her own battle with dementia in 2021, we are hosting an evening of art to raise awareness and fundraise for Alzheimer's.
Enjoy a gallery showing of artwork created by local persons living with Alzheimer's or a form of dementia. Create your own one-of-a-kind art project based on a Nita Harding original painting. Enjoy snacks, drinks and a photo booth. Fun for the whole family.
Location: Brush Strokes Pottery | 2311 Thornton Rd., Austin, TX 78704 (look for the bright green door)
